12 years ago Marten, big guy in the picture met Mirna (for the viewers left to him). She didn’t have any shoes. He bought her a pair of shoes while backpacking in Guatemala. He soon realised he could do more for her and her family and started to raise money. The response was overwhelming and that led him to build a school together with his sister and friends from university: Niños de Guatemala. Now they realised three schools and last week 90 kids graduated.
Next to that he founded the Good Group and the Good Hotels to ‘Sleep Good’ and ‘Do Good’. The profit that they make is dedicated to do good in the world.
The past months I’ve been working with him and his organisations. It’s an amazing experience to see what’s possible if you surrender to what life is calling you to do.
