September 19 we will organize with Windesheim a conference about the teacher of the future in De Balie in Amsterdam.
We designed the past year a U process in which students, teachers and the administration of Windesheim took a deep dive into the future of education. Together we organized sensing journeys, had presencing moments and teachers started to experiment with their students in line with their new insights. This let to some great video material and especially very enthusiastic students.
During the September meeting we want to explore with a group of approximately 100 innovators in education what the future role is of teachers. We see Steve Jobs Schools, the Kahn Academy, Universities without formal teachers so what does that mean for the one who was supposed to stand in front of the class room? We will explore the following questions:
- Who is the teacher of the future?
- How should he be educated?
- What does this mean for the Universities where they are trained?

The meeting is the start of 5 more meetings in De Balie around education. During the evening of the 19th the IONA stichting will organize a dialogue meeting around education.

Ik sprak zojuist Ingrid Vos en hoorde van haar dat zij aanstaande donderdag naar jouw bijeenkomst gaat over Leren met de next generation. Luisterend naar haar verhaal over de inhoud werd ik direct enthousiast en ging mijn bloed sneller stromen :-))))).
Binnen ABN AMRO bank heb ik mij altijd bezig gehouden met de ontwikkeling van jonge talenten op HBO en WO niveau. En was ik verantwoordelijk voor de inhoud van de traineeschips binnen de bank. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog de mogelijkheid gehad om jonge volwassen te mogen coaches met het maken van de juiste studiekeuze.
De doelgroep blijf ik boeiend vinden en geregeld google in het internet af om te zoeken naar nieuwe ontwikkelingen rondom deze doelgroepen.
Toen Ingrid vertelde over jouw bijeenkomst had ik direct zo iets van ik zou hier heel graag bij willen zijn. ZIj adviserede mij om een mail aan jou te richten of er nog een mogelijkheid was om te deelnemen aan de bijeenkomst.
Ik hoor graag wat de mogelijkheden zijn en of ik zou mogen aansluiten.
